1. In order to be considered for the award, the following should be addressed in the nomination:
   1. The contribution during the previous calendar year with any specific information related to fire, rescue, and EMS training and education.
   2. The contribution made to fire, rescue, or EMS training and education during the years prior to the previous calendar year.
2. Nominees do not have to be members of the Maryland fire and rescue service or the Chesapeake Society of Fire and Rescue Instructors to be considered.
3. Nominations should be sponsored by a chapter member and submitted in a narrative format with as much specific information as possible to:

4. All nominations must be received no later than March 1^st of each year.
5. The award is presented at the Annual Convention and Conference of the Maryland State Firemen’s Association.
