Notice of Executive Committee Meeting!

President Mark Bilger has scheduled his next meeting of the Executive Committee of the Maryland State Firemen's Association for Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., 1610 Main Street, Chester, MD.  The meeting will be called to order promptly at 0900 hours. 

For those desiring to stay overnight, arrangements have been made at the Holiday Inn Express, 1020 Kent Narrows Road, Grasonville, MD.  A block of rooms is being held for MSFA at a reduced rate.  Each individual is responsible for making their own arrangements. For reservations, call 410-827-4454.  Rooms are $75.00 per night, using code FIR.  Reservation must be made prior to November 2, 2017     

A “Welcome Reception” is planned for Friday Evening where you will have a chance to mingle with all.  Additional information will be forthcoming with location and time.  

Remember - All Committee Chairs, Organizations and Agencies are reminded that your reports must be sent electronically to the Secretary’s Office at no later than November, 24th, 2017.   A copy of the Agenda for Committees and EMSOF Partners reporting time, will be forth coming.  You are also requested to have fifteen (15) copies of your report prepared for distribution prior to your reporting time and should be turned into the Secretary’s Office as soon as possible. 

As in the past, any budget request must be submitted to Chairman Stephan Cox at 

President Bilger has announced that this will be a one day only meeting.

President Bilger has also indicated that there will be actives for the individuals that will not be attending the meeting.  Additional Information will be published at a later time.

Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in these meetings of the Executive Committee so that you can be better informed and updated on the various emergency services issues, to better serve the citizens of Our Great State.

Bereavement Uniform Program (BUP) Says THANK YOU to Maryland and the MSFA
