The Maryland State Firemen’s Association (MSFA) Grants Committee, in partnership with the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI), is pleased to announce a series of FREE fire grant workshops to be presented on-line during September and October. These workshops are intended to better prepare departments for the upcoming application periods for the FEMA grant programs: Assistance to Firefighters Grant COVID Supplemental (AFG-S), Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG), Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER), and Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S).

Dates of the workshops: October 20 and 22. All workshops are the same and you only need to attend one. Due to COVID restrictions, all workshops will be conducted on-line using MFRI’s CANVAS platform and ZOOM application.
