Executive Committee Meeting Agenda for September, 18th and 19th, 2021
All Officers, Committee Chairs and Organizations Representatives:
President Joel McCrea has scheduled his Executive Committee Meeting of the Maryland State Firemen’s Association for Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th, 2021. The meeting will be at the Western Enterprise Fire Company, Inc., 526 Washington Square, Hagerstown, MD, The meeting will be called to order promptly at 1000 hours.
For those desiring to stay overnight, arrangements have been made Home2 Suites by Hilton, 1661 Pullman Lane, Hagerstown, MD. A block of rooms is being held for MSFA at a reduced rate. Each individual is responsible for making their own arrangements. For reservations, call 301-791-7015. Rooms are $109.00 per night plus tax, using code MFA. Reservation must be made prior to September 3, 2021.
Western Enterprise Fire Company has planned a “Welcome Reception” for Friday Evening, September 17th, 2021 at the Fire Station from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Come by and enjoy yourself and have a chance to mingle with all.
President McCrea announced for those not participating in the meeting on Saturday, September 18th, there will be an opportunity to go shopping. Further details will be announced at the Welcome Reception on Friday night.
Western Enterprise personnel advised that there will be a Hot Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday, September 18th for a fee and will provide a Continual Breakfast on Sunday, September 19th with a light lunch.
President McCrea has announced that the dress code for Sunday, September 19th, 2021 will be a collared shirt with a tie and the coat will be an optional.
Each Committee Chair or Vice Chair are encouraged to give a report to the Executive Committee on the activities of their Committee, as well as any upcoming events. A copy of the agenda for Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th, 2021 is attached.
Remember – All Committee Chairs, Organizations and Agencies are reminded that your reports must be sent electronically to the Secretary’s Office at report@msfa.org no later than September 11th, 2021. A copy of the Agenda for Committees and EMSOF Partners reporting time, will be forthcoming. You are also requested to have fifteen (15) copies of your report prepared for distribution prior to your reporting time and should be turned into the Secretary’s Office as soon as possible.
President McCrea also indicated that the meeting will be available by Zoom for int individuals that are unable to attend in person. If you are unable to attend and wish to participate in the meeting, use the following information to log into Zoom.
