The Maryland Forest Service Fire Management Staff is accepting applications for the Work Capacity (Pack) Test and RT-130 Annual Fireline Safety Refresher training for Agency and Wildland Fire Crew members. 

All participants applying for the pack test will be required to complete the Health Screening Questionnaire (HSQ). The HSQ will be evaluated by an agency administrator to determine if medical clearance is required prior to the Pack test. Participants will also be required to sign an Informed Consent form the day of the test. 

All candidates must apply online. The Pack Test will have 3 time slots available at 0900, 1000, & 1100. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. The RT-130 Annual Refresher will be 1230 – 1630. You must attend the entire session to receive credit.

Note: Maximum of 50 slots available for each session

Registration Deadline: February 29, 2020

All candidates must apply online and email the required HSQ Form. Application does not guarantee any slot. Selected applicants will be notified by email and sent the forms needed for either State or AD Hire for 2020.
