Deale Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad

It is with deepest sympathies that the Deale Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad announce the passing of Past Chief Russell A. Lancaster II on August 2, 2020. During his 33 years of service, Chief Lancaster attained life membership, served as Chief of the Department, faithfully served in several elected positions, provided support to multiple committees, as well fundraising events. A recent notable role was serving as Santa Claus for the Trunk-or-Treat event where he handed out candy near his motorcycle that he arrived on.

Chief Lancaster will be greatly missed and our continued thoughts remain with his family during this time.
